Long before the term
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) was popular, Kenvale College
was immersed in community projects. From the earliest days of the
College in 1971, through to the present, Kenvale staff and students
have contributed to the community - in Australia and overseas - in
various ways.
Past activities have
included:
-
Ten years
of running the Community Visitors Scheme - a Federal
Government-backed project involving visiting the elderly in nursing
homes
-
Assisting
at the Ronald McDonald annual fundraising dinner in past
years
-
Working
with children who have cerebral palsy at Allowah Children's
Hospital
-
Volunteering at the
Teddy Bears Picnic fundraiser for the Westmead Children's
Hospital
