A single international
student requires approximately $12,000 to cover living expenses for
each year of study.
However, students should
have $1,500 in excess of the monthly average when they arrive to
cover the initial cost of books and establishment
expenses.
Students are required by
DIAC to declare in their visa application that they have enough
money to pay for travel, tuition, and living expenses for the
duration of their stay in Australia.
