Each year 4 students are elected by staff and fellow students to form this group. Students on the committee will find they develop their leadership, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

Criteria for selection for a student committee member includes someone who is:

• self motivated and can motivate others
• a leader rather than a follower
• responsible: can meet deadlines, complete tasks, follow through
• positive and enthusiastic
• commitment
• initiative
• good communicator
  

Its primary aim is to promote the interests and represent the views of Kenvale College students both inside and outside College. It also aims to foster a College community through social events and functions.
