Application Procedure

Complete an Application Formand send (fax or email) together with other necessary documents: resume, 3 references, copies of academic transcripts,and school reports, any other material which may support your application and 2 passport photos.  Original documents must be presented at the interview.

2.  INTERVIEW
Once the application has been reviewed, if you are successful, the Head of Admissions will contact you to organise an interview. The interview will be conducted by a College representative or by telephone. You will be notified of the result of the interview in writing within 1 week.

3.  ACCEPTANCE OF OFFER
Successful applicants need to complete the relevant forms and send together with the course deposit. Students from Assessment Level 1 & 2 countries will be issued with a confirmation of enrolment, and can apply for their visa (refer to visa requirements). Students from Assessment Level 3 & 4 countries will be issued with a confirmation of enrolment once the college has received the pre-visa assessment granted by DIAC, and can then apply for their visa. Students are not required to pay the enrolment fee until after their visa has been granted.  

4.  ENROLMENT
New students should arrive in Australia by mid-January, to come to College on 19 January 2009 to fill in relevant forms for uniform fitting, and briefing for work placement interviews. Enrolment fees are payable by 5 December 2008.

5.  INDUSTRY PLACEMENT
On enrolment in the College, Industry Placement options will be discussed. If you decide you require assistance, an interview with one of Kenvale College's industry partners will be necessary.

Please note that tourism and hospitality establishments participating in the Cooperative Education Scholarship Program have their own selection criteria.

6.  ORIENTATION DAYS 2009
Orientation is held from 16-18 February 2009. A Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) course will be held for students on 18 February 2009.

NB.  Classes commence on 23 February 2009.
