Each year, as part of their educational training, students participate in industry visits.

They expose students to different tourism and hospitality establishments such as boutique hotels, conference and convention centres and international deluxe hotels. Some of these visits include the Tooheys Brewery, Australian Jockey Club, Superdome, and Star City Casino.

Each year a day trip is organised for first year students to the Hunter Valley, one of Australia's leading wine regions. This fun-filled day is packed with visits to various wineries helping to increase students' wine knowledge and appreciation.

Students are also encouraged to participate in industry-organised expos and exhibitions, opening their horizons to a wide array of innovations of products and services available. This activity ensures that the students are abreast of the latest happenings in the industry.
