Kenvale’s Hospitality and Event
Management courses are designed for students who would like to
enter one or both of these fascinating industries and progress to
management level. The courses are run concurrently so that students
receive the overall and practical training required to succeed in
both industries.
Within the management
courses, our most common program is the combined Advanced Diploma
of Hospitality/ Advanced Diploma of Events. This standard program
takes two years to be completed as full time study. The course has
the following characteristics:
- Contact hours are 2 ½ to
3 days maximum.
- Lectures and practical
sessions are held between 8.30 am (earliest) and 5.30pm
(latest).
- The academic year is
divided into 2 semesters (parallel to University of New South Wales
timetable).
- Each semester consists
of 16 weeks.
- All students carry out
an industry placement for 15- 20 hours per week in addition to
their College contact hours.
